The operational problem
A missed-call record
is only the beginning.
FreePBX/Asterisk call records can show an unanswered call. The original record alone does not tell a supervisor whether that potential lead was subsequently recovered.
A caller may try again and reach an agent. Alternatively, another agent may make an outbound callback and speak to that caller.
In either case, leaving the original missed call unresolved obscures what the business still needs to follow up.
Fennix developed an application that correlates PBX/CDR activity with subsequent answered inbound calls and successful outbound callbacks to the same telephone number.
Recovered leads are marked “Lead closed”. Otherwise, they remain open. Automatic refresh gives supervisors visibility of genuinely unresolved opportunities.

The functionality was packaged as a separate reporting module, included and separately priced in commercial PBX proposals, and deployed across multiple business environments.
Historical commercial descriptions included “Call Center Missed Call Reports” and “Call Center Missed Lead Reports”.
The application adds the missing business layer to existing telecommunications infrastructure: lead recovery, supervisor visibility, agent accountability and follow-up management.
Make unresolved opportunities visible and support follow-up. Zero unresolved leads is the operational target, not a claimed measured outcome.
