The engineering challenge

The reporting workflow required the analyzer's chromatogram and graphical information to appear in the generated laboratory report. Existing implementations had not satisfied that requirement.
Fennix developed its own working method to extract and reconstruct the graphical information, then render it alongside the result and peak table.
The implementation subsequently attracted technical enquiries from other developers working with the analyzer environment and commercial interest in the reporting method.
The application supported analyzer record acquisition, patient/result management, patient search and laboratory workflow.
Reporting and print management brought together HbA1c result presentation, chromatogram/graph rendering and peak-table presentation.
